Dr Nestor Demosthenous
Aesthetic Doctor, MBChB, MSc, BSC
Dr Nestor is one of Scotland’s most experienced aesthetic doctors. He’s a highly skilled and experienced aesthetic doctor with a passion for delivering natural-looking results. Dr Nestor holds an MSc in Aesthetic Medicine from Bart’s & Queen Mary University London. He is also on the global faculty of the Allergan Medical Institute and regularly teaches and speaks for Allergan Aesthetics nationally and internationally
Dr Rona Forrest
Aesthetic Doctor & GP MBChB DCH
Dr Rona completed her medical degree at the University of Glasgow in 2010, after which she worked in Glasgow before travelling to Australia to undertake Emergency Medicine training. She returned to Scotland in 2015 and completed her Foundation Aesthetic Medicine training on London’s Harley Street. At the same time, she trained as a General Practitioner. Rona has been trained under Dr Nestor’s mentorship. She is very experienced in BOTOX treatments, Profhilo, full facial fillers and Radio Frequency micro-needling. Her ambition is to help patients fulfil their youthful potential.
Dr Terrina Dickson
Private GP MBChB DPD
Dr Terrina is a highly experienced GP who initially trained as a surgeon. Her special interests are dermatology, minor surgery, mole mapping, vasectomy, and health screening.
Dr Trish Davis
Menopause Specialist
Our menopause specialist Dr Trish is dedicated to helping women navigate this transformative stage of life. She graduated as a doctor from Edinburgh University in 1998 before moving to Newcastle upon Tyne where she trained to become a GP, completing the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Medicine
Ms Anne Burdess
Consultant Vascular Surgeon
Anne is our compassionate and experienced vein specialist. Since qualifying with excellence in Surgery from the University of Edinburgh in 2000, she’s helped hundreds of patients achieve relief from varicose veins. She’s also presented nationally and internationally and enjoyed teaching workshops within the European Vascular Society.
Dr Chris Cartilidge
Breast Surgeon FRCS (Ed), MB ChB (Hons), BSc (Hons)
Consultant oncoplastic and cosmetic surgeon Dr Cartilidge works in NHS Fife, NHS Forth Valley and in private practice. He specialises in surgery for breast cancer, risk reduction and benign disease, breast reconstruction and all aspects of breast cosmetic surgery. He cares a great deal about his patients: getting them the right treatment and the best results.
Ms Lucy Khan
Breast Surgeon MB ChB, BSc (Hons) (Med Sci), FRCS (Ed) (General & Breast), MFST (Ed)
Dr Lucy is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at NHS Lanarkshire, working primarily at the NHS Forth Valley Royal Hospital. She specialises in the treatment of breast cancer and in breast reconstruction, revisional breast surgery, salvage surgery and all aspects of breast cosmetic surgery. Her goal is to listen to your hopes and expectations and provide you with an outcome you are happy with.

Amanda Demosthenous
Independent Nurse Prescriber BSc (Hons)
Amanda is a NMC registered Independent Nurse Prescriber, with a Postgraduate in Aesthetic Medicine. She is an experienced aesthetic injector, a regional lead for BAMAN (British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses) South East Scotland and a faculty member for DermaFocus in regenerative medicine treatments. With over 10 years in the field of aesthetics and skin rejuvenation, she is also a trainer, mentor and presenter. Her career began as a cardiothoracic intensive care nurse, progressing to a clinical nurse specialist at The Harley Street Clinic in London, before pursuing her passion for aesthetics. Amanda is deeply dedicated to achieving exceptional patient outcomes by creating personalised treatment plans that focus on natural, full-face rejuvenation.

Helen Cowan
Head Aesthetician
Helen is an experienced therapist with a Diploma in Beauty, Body & Spa Specialist (Credit & Distinction Level). She provides a full range of cosmetic and aesthetic services primarily focused on improving her client’s skin health using tailored programs, needling, and energy-based devices. She is fully qualified in the latest techniques for facial skincare, including chemical peels, microdermabrasion, Rejuvapen micro-needling and Radio Frequency. She has an enthusiasm for rejuvenating skin and thrives on exceeding client expectations by providing exceptional results.
Hannah Holmes
Aesthetician
Skin therapist Hannah is a graduate of the prestigious Mary Reid Spa Academy. She’s been honing her skills at a beauty salon and aesthetic clinic for the last 5 years but left to go travelling. Hannah’s now joined Dr Nestor’s Clinic in Edinburgh and aims to help patients feel happy and confident about themselves. Through treatments including the Hydrafacial, SkinPen, TruSculpt Flex and peels, she plans to make a positive impact by achieving great results.
Lauren Boucher
Therapist
Lauren qualified in beauty in 2010 with CIDESCO and CIBTAC (honours). After working in a Medispa in New Zealand, she moved to London to gain more experience in device-based treatment. Lauren’s passion is results driven laser treatments which can help everything from veins to pigmentation. She’s level 4 qualified (laser and light therapies). Lauren believes good skin is a journey. It’s something that can be achieved through a good home care routine and supplementary treatments.

Clinic Manager
Nicole has a passion for health and wellness. A trained make-up artist and fitness instructor, she thrives in helping others feel more confident in themselves. Nicole’s professionalism, time management and multi-tasking strengths make her perfect for the role of Clinic Manager at Dr Nestor’s Clinic. She has an enthusiasm for promoting a healthy, positive body image, alongside the belief in natural “tweakments” to age well and an eagerness to ensure a client’s journey is seamless.
Georgia Duff
Patient & Skin Health Coordinator
Georgia’s aim is to ensure you have a seamless patient journey every time you visit Dr Nestor’s Clinic. She is extremely passionate about the health and beauty industry. She qualified with distinction from the renowned Make Up London Academy. She’s also a brow and lash artist. Georgia sees the benefits of all the procedures we provide and has great enthusiasm for making people not only look good but feel confident too. As our Skin Health coordinator, Georgia also works closely with our skin therapists to keep you up to date with the latest developments within our Skin Health department.

Originally from North Carolina, Abby moved to Edinburgh to complete her Masters in Public Health. A course fuelled by a deep passion for helping individuals achieve their best selves. With seven years of customer service experience, Abby brings a wealth of knowledge and warmth to our clinic. At our clinic, Abby is dedicated to making every patient feel valued and supported throughout their journey. She looks forward to assisting you and contributing to your wellness and confidence.
Aoife Drohan
Front of House Coordinator
Dublin-born Aoife moved to Edinburgh in January 2023. Having previously worked in customer services, she joined the team to expand her knowledge in the aesthetic industry as well as help people feel more confident. Her role involves the everyday running of the clinic. She helps manage appointments, assists, and advises patients with questions/queries via phone or email. She strives to offer excellent customer service and to be as helpful as she can from the moment patients step into the clinic.

Rebecca has worked in the beauty industry since the age of 15. She’s always had a passion for helping people feel the best version of themselves. Her role as Front of House Coordinator at The Mayfield Clinic by Dr Nestor allows her to combine her previous experience and knowledge with giving patients the best possible customer service. Becca is friendly, caring and helpful, she’s a great addition to the team.

Edinburgh-born Nicky has over 20 years’ experience within the media and marketing communications industry. She’s worked with an array of dynamic Scottish brands, she’s also a former magazine editor and beauty journalist who loves great skincare. Nicky’s responsible for our comms, planning, creating, and executing campaigns.
