Concerns

Eyes

Wrinkles, crow’s feet, droopy eyelids, dark circles, and crepey skin all affect the appearance of the eyes. Fine lines are common signs of ageing around the eyes. These lines can be caused by a loss of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin, repetitive facial expressions, sun exposure, and other lifestyle factors.

Dark circles can be caused by factors such as genetics, lack of sleep and stress, however the biggest component is thinning of the lower eyelid (already one of the thinnest skins in the body). This makes the skin more translucent and allows the colouring of underlying muscle shine through. Sagging or uneven eyelids can create a tired or sad appearance and may even obstruct vision in severe cases.

aging

To address these aesthetic problems, it’s important to book a consultation with us so we can discuss your concerns and possible treatments available. These could include fillers to build structure and support around the eyes, as well as sometimes (and only when needed), directly soften hollowed areas in the tear trough area. Anti-wrinkle injections can temporarily relax the muscles responsible for the bunching of skin on the sides of the eyes (dubbed ‘crow’s feet lines’). Polynucleotides can treat eyelids directly as well as the under-eye region working to deeply hydrate, firm, tighten and regenerate the skin.
