Thread Lift
A SILHOUETTE SOFT® thread lift is a non-surgical procedure designed to lift and tighten sagging skin in the mid-face, jowls, and neck areas. It can also help improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and loose skin as well as correct facial asymmetry, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated look. The thread lift procedure is a popular treatment with minimal downtime and risk when carried out by a medical professional. It is the most invasive non-surgical treatment in Aesthetics.
What is thread lift?
We use SILHOUETTE SOFT® at The Mayfield Clinic by Dr Nestor in Edinburgh because it’s one of the few thread lifts that provides an immediate mechanical lifting effect as well as a biological lift by stimulating the natural production of collagen in the months that follow, for progressive and natural results.
The lifting effect is discreet as it is the result of compressing and elevating tissue at the time of adjusting the suture. After inserting the suture, marginal tightening of the threads reshapes the surface of the skin and makes it visibly lifted.
